Walpurgis dreams (written under the influence of alcohol)
So, I had the weirdest dream right now. I don't remember the first half of it, but I can remember bits and pieces from the end.

I remember seeing this really cool house that had like 5 stories, only they were seperated and upheld by the stairs that connected them. It was quite the sight actually, and I'm deeply considering trying to paint it.

Anyways, so I decide to enter this house, which seems to be owned by this asian woman. I'm not sure why, but for some reason this woman doesn't try to stop me as I barge into her home. Strange, but again, this was a dream.

So, I was determined to get to the fifth floor. Said and done, I try to climb the stairs. The weird part is that I don't remember actually CLIMBING the stairs, just that I start climbing in one instant and then, in the next instant, I'm at the top, enetering a new room. This happened with all the staircases.

The first set leads me up into a roomy room. There seemed to be some plants there, but I can't remember it clearly.
Amazed by the architecture of this beautiful building, I decide to move further on into the building and up the next staircase.

The second staircase led me up into a small room, again with some vegetation. Other than the plants, the room didn't seem to have any other purpose than to serve as a connector to the next floor as I saw the next staircase immediately as I entered the room. I climbed the next stairs.

The third floor seemed to be the main living area, seeing as this place was huge. This floor in it self had many stories and there were smaller staircases here and there.

I found myself talking to the woman's daughter (she seems to have two daughters, one child and one teenager). I don't remember the actual conversation, but she led me to the toilet and showed me some weird spinning massage machine. She seemed to be laughing when she talked about it, like the machine itself wasn't very effective and they never used it. I believed her. Strangely enough, the toilet connected to the next floor. I started climbing the next staircase...

...and found myself on the fouth floor, which was on a roof. I could see the fifth staircase further away, but it was unclear where I needed to go to get there. I started looking around. I can't remember clearly what happened on the rooftop, but I remember this portion of the dream being at least as long as the first portion of the dream. There was some climbing going on and I can vaguely remember seeing statues made of wood, depicting chinese dragons.

There seemed to be a lot going on the rooftop and there was even a weird merry-go-round and clowns walking around. I asked somebody (he seemed fatherly, but probably wasn't the previous child's dad) about the merry-go-round: "wow, you even have a merry-go-round", but I don't remember the actual answer.

After climbing some more, the dream seemed to change a bit and there was some drama and interaction with other people. I don't remember what happened, but I vaguely remember it beeing interesting. I eventually got back on track, though, and tried to find a way to get to the next floor.

On the way there, though, I found myself getting distracted by one of the attractions of this floor. There was a tall clown fooling around with what could only be described as a big pool of rainbow colored fluff. He dove into the fluff and it disappeared where he landed, leaving a mark. Underneath the fluff there seemed to be an ordinary pool of water.

As the clown was bathing in the water, the fluff quickly regenerated and returned to it's original form, covering the clown. No worries though, folks. The clown was OK, and he could climb out of the fluff pool with ease, again leaving a mark that mysteriously regenerated.

Dumb as I was I had to go and try it out. I dove into the fluff. It disappeared and left a mark, as last time, but when it regenerated I found myself stuck in the fluff, unable to move...

...and then I woke up, leaving me unable to ever see what was on the fifth floor. >__<

Blog phoenix syndrome
I stood on the brink of the world, looking out into the endless nothingness that was to be known as the horizon of eternity. What waited ahead was unclear, and I sat down for a while to gather my thoughts.

As I tried to focus on a specific point in front of me, it started to become clear that the skies that appeared before my tear ridden eyes were an illusion created by an alternate, darker side of me.

His hate alone had destroyed the only path to glory, and he had blamed the world for it. His wings, blackened by the harsh realities that comprise our world. This alternate version of me had no hope, and no future.

But that was in the past. That was another me, someone who died a long time ago. He sleeps, but perhaps not eternally. Knowing that his rebirth could be eminent in a near future, I started to shiver as the cold winds painted the sky crimson red. I turned my eyes to the sky.

As I watched the red clouds that covered the horizon silently go by, I realized that this view wasn't meant for me. It was meant for someone else. It meant for HIM.

I understood, that it was up to me to repaint this sky, to repaint what is not yet to be, but what shall become.

I closed my eyes and imagined a brush painting the skies blue. I slowly filled the skies with my brush and I could feel that, with every new stroke, the color of my very soul started to change. But I decided that I couldn't stop there. I had to do something about the path that was long gone. The path that was destroyed. The nothingness that was beneath the skies was gradually replaced with something else. Blue turned to green and a great field opened up beneath me to reveal my new path, my new destiny.

I decided to once again stand tall and reach for the heavens. I opened up my eyes again and what I saw was what I had envisioned. The skies had turned from crimson to blue, and the green hills that connected to the great field to reveal my future path had replaced the nothingness that covered the horizons.

I found myself standing in the grass, soaking my feet as if still wet from the paint. I spread my now golden wings and let the mysterious mistress called "Wind" take them in her strong arms. The world fluttered for an instant as I turned my eyes to the new horizons, and let the warm breeze lift me up as I flapped my wings and started my new journey.

The horizon of eternity was no more, and the other me was sound asleep.
